SOWJANYA MANO VIKAS
Social activist Mr.Kappala Shankar Rao under Goutham Educational Society started the project in the year 2010.
The project was started in the name of Sowjanya Mano Vikas. The project aims to work for mentally challenged children and adults. The project is running in daycum and residential modes.
Due to lack of funds, HOPE LINES CHARITABLE TRUST in the year 2020 collaborated the project.
HLCT is collaborated with Goutham Education Society for the project sowjanya Mano Vikas and supporting the people of the home by providing Food, Educational Needs, Medical Needs and Therapies needed for their daily life.
The project targets the age group 5 – 55 children and adults. We help the beneficiaries by providing them training in daily life skills and income generating skills according to their age.
We identify the target group suffering with below problems:
- Lack of maturity appropriate to age.
- Inability to catch objects properly
- Muscle stiffened people.
- Scissoring nature of legs while walking
- Damage in central Nervous system
- Having one or more disabilities
- Repeatedly doing same things
- Unable to their daily activities
- Unconsciousness of Urine excretion
- Habituated to stay alone.
We support the above kind of disabilities people and provide them training to learn all the above things for their daily life and giving them a hope for leading a normal individual human life in the society.
We provide them skill development training for their daily income. Upon taking training from our organization, they can be self-employed and can stand upon their own feet and earn atleast for their daily bread.
We train them in candle making, Paper plates making and other small incomeable skills.
For residential program HLCT is supporting food expenses also and monthly we take them out for recreational purpose to parks , Movies etc…. to stop thinking about their inabilities and feel free like normal people .
We train the people at age group of 10 to 30 years in developing their sports skills. These trained people will participate in sports competitions like running, cricket, volleyball, football etc specially conducted for the same categorized people. Some of our fellow students got shields and gifts upon winning in the competitions.

- Speech Therapy
- Physiological counselling and Guidance
- General Medical Checkup ( Once in Every 15 Days )
- Providing Quality training by qualified teachers
- Speech behavior modification to deal the autism children development.
